Overview and Scope of Workshop

Research in political, social and economics sciences are evolving with the increasing availability of social media, advanced data analytics and big data technologies. This workshop focus on characterizing social, political and economic events through the user behavior in social media. The goal is to promote the exchange of ideas and advances on how emerging research methods and sources are applied to different fields as well as to discuss current and future challenges.

Schedule

The half-day workshop will have a combination of invited talks, and technical presentations.
